Does anyone have experience with the XO rust
tractor enamel paint as far as how it holds
up I am looking to paint my grain truck with
the Oliver green color and was seeing that
they offer a clear coat for it also my other
option is Valspar tractor enamel paint but
there is no clear offered for it by Valspar

Thanks
Dennis

I've never used XO paint before. Every single product I've ever used made by Valspar including interior wall paint has been very bad though. Their tractor paint was especially bad.

Prep is a lot more important than paint. Don't put expensive paint over a five hour prep or put cheap paint over a fifty hour prep. Don't put any top coat on without primer.

Not a quick prep job. Cab was sandblasted
rust spot cut out and replaced rust spots
cleaned and vacuumed sand.next step is to
wet sand and prime. Have painted several
skidsteer and tractors with valspar with
great results just looking to clear this one
in hopes to make it last longer and more
durable

I've used it. It is sold by true value stores. It is about the same as rustoleum paints. If I was painting a truck/car I would get it form an auto paint suppler Napa, Eastwood etc.

With all the work that you have done I wouldn't chance using a product intended for lawn furniture. Use an epoxy primer, and a mid grade 2K urethane paint. I have used Duponts Nason product. It is automotive grade at way lower price than the expensive products.
