has anyone had long term experience with this paint, does it last without cover up? Thanks

sunlight will mess it up. black turns white and loses its protective nature. fine for chassis as is or topcoat with any paint. best to spray topcoat on before fully dry. stuff is so hard many paints will not want to stick unles sanded well. I painted floor, trunk and most of chassis on a 54 Pontiac in 1985 if I remember right. sold Pontiac last year. Paint was shiny and rust free. I did some weak areas on the floor with Por 15, then a cloth patch and another coat of por15. It was the strongest spot on the floor.

I too have had good success with it. Painted the floor of a truck cab about 15 years ago, still looks great.
