Paint Thinners

Hi
Am about to give my Fergy a new paint job.
Have purchased Bareco Stoneleigh grey and
wanted to know can I use any other thinners
also are these tractor paints heat
resistant.
Any help appreciated.

i took a look at their website. it is an enamel. they have the msds sheets on their site, download the msds sheets and see what they require. use their thinner/ reducers to avoid any problems.

It's an oil based enamel. You can use mineral spirits but if you can get it turpentine would be better. The paint isn't heat resistant.

You should not need to worry about heat on the motor block, but if you want a good exhaust manifold paint, Eastwoods has one that lasts very well.

You need Bare-Co thinner 4 liter B5272. Turps and mineral spirits may mess with your drying times.
