electrolysis tank solution

I need to dispose of my 5 gallon bucket of electrolysis tank solution. Lye and water was the original mix but pretty nasty now from degrease/paint removal of most of our Ford 600 project. Any suggestions how to dispose? I think it's just a basic solution so maybe not too dangerous but I would try to collect the bottom of the bucket which is probably paint and grease residue. I'd like to be kind to the environment but also not be too worried about nothing...

I plan to move into a different tank too for bigger objects, so I'll have even more solution in a couple months to worry about....

thanks, moday

lye is a basic, just pour it out in the woods, not around the other half's flowers!
I drain my barrel down really low until the bottom is just gunk, paint, etc and then let it dry out a day or two then dump into the trash
it does make some nasty looking stuff, but boy it works!

Lye is a strong base traditionally used for clearing drains. Strain out solids and run it into your drains Dissolves hair and other organic material. Used over a couple months yor 5 gallons will open your drains up good. Products like Draino work the same. Dad was a truly brilliant chemist, still has patents with his name as inventor. We had a lab in our basement.
