Can you degrease parts today and paint later?

I would like to clean my project tomorrow night, with the wax and de greaser, but I may not be able to paint it until next weekend. Is that going to be a problem?

No, go over with tack rag to get rid of dust before painting.

at my shop its done just prior to going in the spray booth. if it sits for any amount if time you have no way of knowing if contaminants land on the prepped areas. air borne solvents, diesel smoke, ect.
