I understand a yellow decal is not available for my 420 John Deere crawler. I am kind of tempted to take off the sheet metal and have it professionally painted
and then paint or not paint the rest myself. It is a working tractor. I do not use it much, but I occasionally move dirt and snow with it. The downside is that
two kinds of paint probably never match if I do paint the cast later. On the other hand, probably a real pain to paint the engine, etc. and any paint on the
tracks and blade would wear off quickly with us. Any other downsides to my idea?
