Media blasting

I've started the strip down on two old hay wagons I want to repaint. I haven't started shopping someone to media blast the gear yet and thought it would be a good idea to ask here for some feedback. What's a good price to clean up a wagon gear.

Thank you, Greg

It's been awhile since I got anything big done. I know that it can vary a lot depending on how the place is set up. You want to find a place that has a large out door bay with a huge compressor, for a large job like that.

Around here they get $ 75 and hr. Mine ran around $ 180 . I had it all in peices so he could do better job. May have cost a little more to handle and flip smaller chunks than to just haul the wagon to them in one piece , but not as good job.

I have both of mine stripped down at this point. There are a few pieces I need to fabricate (4 bolsters) to make the gears strong enough to support the beds. There is 1 tongue to straighten and all the hubs to tear down. I can't agree more, when stripped the blasting is going to be much better than a rolling chassis
