What color should I paint an old Kewanee Disk? What color should I paint an Anthony Company Wagon made in Steator, IL? Is there
a PPG Industrial paint color number for a Woods Mower?

I am not sure what color they are supposed to be but you can paint them whatever color suits you. I cleaned up my 3 pt. Snowblower last fall and painted it. It originally was blue. It is now orange and black because I liked that better ! Your equipment your choice ! No sure about the ppg paint. I have used Sherwin Williams industrial urethane and had great luck. Supplier can mix any color or adjust to your preference.

Kewanee was a red, not a bright red but a darker that looked kind of faded.

Yes, red for the Kewanee disk, and I think the wheels used to be green on ours. More of an Oliver green than JD green.

(My old Kewanee is now rust colored)

Many many moons ago we had an Anthony flare box and the color was maroon. I am 69 and that trailer was here before I was.

I googled the wagon company and found this:

This facility became know as Anthony Company?s Plant No. 2.? Production of Anthony all-steel, flare-type grain wagons for farm use was begun.? Each box was identified by the name ?Anthony? pressed into the rear panel.? The wagon boxes were then painted with the Company?s characteristic ?Chinese Red? paint.? (Hardware Hank stores carry ?Chinese Red? as Valspar 1610 in an aerosol spray can.? The matching paint in a gallon or half-gallon can is ?Ming Red? or Valspar 7010.)

I am cheap and hate small quantities of leftover paint. I paint all of my home made equipment IHC red. If this equipment belonged to me I would just buy two colors of paint. I would paint the disc with red and the wheels yellow like the Woods mower. Same with the wagon. The woods mower is close to the Vermeer baler color

I have two Woods mowers, and found that the paint I can get from our local Woods dealer is different from older Woods mowers. You can look at what Woods dealer has, but may want to choose your own color if matching an old machine. My Two Cents.
