use the paint strainer funnels. any body shop supply has them, and napa if the store sells automotive paint.

called the local paint shop here in town and told them of my problem..

the lady on the phone said that she had a strainer; however, an old knee high would work just as good.

and she was right. i ran my last coat of thru an old knee high and it got out all the buggers.

You can get cone strainers at most paint stores. I buy what I use by the box at Harbor Freight. Just be sure you get the right mesh appropriate for the paint you are using. The thinner the paint you use the finer the mesh you will need. Mix the paint with the thinner in a separate container and then pour it in the sprayer with the strainer.
