We want to paint a high dump wagon we just bought. It's 12' long the sides are @8' each the front &back average width is 6,5',back height is 10.5' and the front is 7' as the top is open to blow feed in. There's also a wagon under it and some frame work on one side. If I give it 2 coats rough math with the wagon would be @800' square? Depending on price I may use a standard hardware store rust paint. I don't paint that often ,I think I mix it @25% reducer, would that be a good amount? Also I was considering sand blasting the stickers off, would those areas need primer before paint if it's only rust paint? I may also blast some of the rust spots as well. If that would work what type of grit would work best? I don't need it to look like or better than new when it's finished but I would like it to look respectable when it's finished.A lot of questions I'm sorry and thank you for any advice.
