Painting an e-coated CAPA hood

I am replacing the hood on my 2002 Ram 2500 due to hail damage. Since I cannot find one my color, I have decided to use a CAPA certified hood that has been e-coated. I have used PPG products (MAE) on several tractors I have repainted and I am comfortable using that. For proper adhesion, what way do you suggest I proceed? I could not find the info on the CAPA website so maybe it comes with the hood. I have not purchased it yet. Would you scuff and shoot, strip and prime? I appreciate your input.

scuff it, wax and degrease it, shoot it. you can put a 2k powerfill primer/sealer over it if you like, if the final color is light, go with a light primer.

I used Dupont's acrylic enamel since they're located in Delaware. Hal
