Cross fire reducer

Can the cross fire reducer like the cr732 and 733 and the hardener be used with the paints from the dealerships. Caseih /john deere and so on. Thanks

That would be difficult to say without knowing specifically what the paint from the dealership is. Anyway as far as solvents go, it's always a good practice to use the same brand solvent as the paint. Solvents are often a blend of chemicals and the chemists have formulated the right blend for the paint they make. Once you start using a generic solvent it might be missing a chemical or have another that is too strong and the paint dries at a different rate than it is suppose to. This can greatly affect the sheen of the paint and you end up blaming the paint when the problem was a poor solvent. Most people would never consider mixing two different brands of paint together but think nothing about mixing a different brand solvent. It's really the same thing.

You should be able to use the Reducer but you might need a synthetic hardener for your paint. I use either DuPont(Nason) or a equivilant when using
John Deere paint.

NAPA has two kinds of hardener, low solids for enamels and high solids for urethane, I have used both with different brands of paint.

I was at napa looking and the cr732 was the
fastest drying from 50-60? Degrees cr733 was
fast from 55-65? Degrees I was just looking
for a reducer to help with painting when
it's cold

Yes, I was confused on reducer numbers.

I have 732, 733 and 734, usually move 1 number warmer so drying slows down.
