I have a couple of small engine shrouds that look good in the original paint> How would I go about cleaning them> Thanks in advance. J.

if the paint is still sound, you could try either sea power marine cleaner wax, or star-brite marine cleaner wax. they are a very mild compound cleaner wax for boats.

I take almost everything to my local carwash. I can hold it right tight against things, and almost blast off paint, or I can hold it 4' or 5' away and be very gentle. Use that and a scrub brush or scrub pad, ought to do it.
