NASON Epoxy Primer

Sheetmetal is down to metal with Picklex applied. Getting the cast ready now. Going to use Nason epoxy primer...my question is...will the epoxy primer need to be reduced to spray?? Thanks

Look it up on DuPont's info. As to what I use (PPG Omni), it is not reduced, it uses hardener as 2:1. Nason's is probably similar. When you are using quality paint, you must get the instructions.

Forgot something. I think Nason has gone to another company. Put the exact name of it into Google and you will be able to find a tech sheet.

According to the label and the spec sheet, activator is one to one, but nothing about reducer. Maybe it is like PPG and doesn't need reduced. Thanks guys.

if it is nason 491, it is a 2k expoy primer sealer. it is a 1 to 1 ratio with 483 activator, no reducer. there is a 1/2 hour induction time after it is mixed to activate.
