Wet sandblaster

Not real impressiv? even with a fairly powerful washer. If I could have kept sand flowing smoothly it might have worked better. Need a big old compressor and hoses nozzles and feed tub to get the job done.

I bought the one from Northern . I had similar problems, and so I put the sandbag up on a barrel so there wasn't so much vacuum required to get it to the nozzle. I also removed the quick coupler from the wand and directly screwed the sandblast att. to the wand to increase the velocity of the blast and create more vacuum to draw the sand . It worked pretty good with those simple mod's..

I should mention I was using a 12 hp gas engine P.W., a big commercial unit .A typical electric "blast the driveway" size won't cut it ...

I have been very happy with mine from northern tool. It does take a healthy washer to run one effectively. I use a 3.5 GPM and 4000 PSI pump but its the GPM that creates the suction not the pressure. One important thing with using the wand is be sure your suction tube is up top so water does not drip back into the tube and block your sand flow. Keep your sand dry I use a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. The nozzles do wear and wear somewhat quickly. As they wear you will loose your focused pressure and some suction.

I have seen only one other brand out there it was 2 times the price but the nozzles were cheaper.
