Prepping VAC-14 For Paint

I hope to paint my multicolored VAC this winter. It started out
flambeau red but then at some point lime green. I know how to
deal with the sheet metal, but how does one prep the chasis with
all its cracks, crevices, hydraulic lines, and linkages, etc. How
will I ever prepare all those surfaces?

Thank you,
Glenn F.

Lots of wire wheeling (or sand blasting parts you can take off), maybe a little paint stripper and many hours. enjoy! I have done a couple that way and it just takes time. I like the spray on paint stripper from HD and let it completely dry. Then when you hit it with a wire wheel the stuff just flies off. You can easily sweep it up when you are done and everything. just keep the wet stuff off of you, the burn isn't worth it. Don't ask how I know.
