I'm restoring a Farmall H and having a body shop do up the sheet metal for me. I have painted the tractor frame and cast iron pieces with Case-IH iron guard paint.
The body shop told me they COULD use that paint but using a automotive grade base coat-clear coat would look much better and is what they are used to using.
I was wondering if it would look wierd having the sheetmetal much shinier? Or is that just how it's done?
