Painting holes

What's the trick to painting holes on things like cast hubs? I am thinking the holes you would use for wheel weights. Spraying seems like you would get runs easily before you got complete coverage.

Bolt holes? I ignore them because they have enough paint. Otherwise use a brush after you sprayed it.

That's why paint guns have adjustments. A good gun can be adjusted down enough to paint a bolt head/hole. Do them first then open it up for the rest. Or just do it with brush before spraying.
