Need a little advice here

So, you are saying with a coat of Rustoleum one can sand and apply a top coat and be through if the prep work was adequate? I just want my tractors to be protected and look decent but they are still tractors and not beauty queens. Thanks
 
It depends on the condition of the paint you are topcoating. It also has to be free of any oil or waxes. Personally I don't care for Rustoleum paint. It's about as dependable as Valspar tractor paint.
