Those look nice. Good job!

I got a Free Ford paint job on my '87 F-150 from the local dealer about 1993 or '94. Truck was tu-tone silver & blue, had pealing paint problem. I had the silver and red pin stripe put down the sides of the truck and the red tailgate letters put on instead of the pale blue that came from the factory. The tailgate letters were decals for the '87's, truck was an XL, no brushed stainless steel panel on the tailgate like the XLT's. Took a month to get those decals installed.

I traded that truck in '96 at that same dealer, the truck spent a MONTH in the body shop getting painted AGAIN! The first paint job the dealer blasted ALL the paint & E-coat primer off down to bare steel, then used liquid spray-on primer on the repaint. Anyplace I got a rock chip after that turned into a rust blossom within a month to six weeks after the paint chip. The shop that blasted the paint used a plastic pellet coated with abrasive, supposed to not beat the sheet metal up as bad. Been VERY fussy about bodywork done to my truck since then.
