I just epoxy primed my tractor this morning and it took about ½ hour. My question is the spec sheet for omni MTK states 5 to 10 minutes between coats and there is no way i can cover the whole tractor in that time frame. seems like the only option is to do it sections at a time. Example 2 or 3 coats on engine, then transmission etc. Am I obsessing over nothing and just shoot it front to back and then start again with second coat which may be about half hour later.
In another post Randy you stated that you want wet on tacky
I will be using 187 slow reducer and 168 slow hardener, and the temp here is in low 80's with low humidity. I will be shooting it in the shade this evening.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, just trying to learn and do a good job.

I don't know but I believe the 5 to 10 minutes is the minimum amount of drying time. Usually epoxy primers you have eight hours to either topcoat or put a filler primer over the top.
