Pin Hole Repair With JB Weld

I have a 1947 International KB1 truck I am restoring. I repaired the rotted out metal on the box by patching in new steel. I thought I had taken care of all the rust issues and took the box to be sand blasted and epoxy primed. Well about 6 random pin holes got opened up from sand blasting. I could weld them shut but that would burn off the epoxy primer. I will also be hard to feather the edge of the epoxy because it doesn't sand very well. I am thinking of just using some JB weld to fix the pin holes. The holes are in the lower skirt below the bed so I could build it up from the backside. Any thoughts on how well this will work?

When removing luggage racks and filling emblem holes on cars I have used J-B weld to succesfully close off holes. I sold those cars so I don't know how long it worked for.

All depends on how well rust was arrested during prep before priming. Pin holes mean surounding metal is thin but should last if rust doesn't continue.

Filling the pin holes with JB Weld would be alright. By this time you could burn off the epoxy primer anyway. You have exceeded the recoat window and it will need another coat anyway.
