Crushed walnut shells blasting

Hi, Do any of you gents use the crushed walnut shells for blasting . How does it compare to Black Beauty?. What type of pressure do you need ? What project did you blast ?

walnutshells are a very soft media, unlike black beauty. great for clean up on copper and brass, combustion chambers, intake and exhaust runners, ect where you do not want to remove base metal. it will not clean up severe rust. 60 to 90 psi.

A while back someone asked and I regaled my experience and to make the story short, unless I have a very specialized reason I won't waste my money. Tried it on paint and I think using my fingernail would have been as fast.
