Powder Coat Exhaust Stack

I have a Case 5120 with a rusty exhaust stack. The tractor has a muffler under the hood and just a vertical stack coming out of the hood. The stack is rusty and looks terrible. Do you think powder coating would stand up to the heat?

the bbq grille paint rusty suggested works well. i have used it on exhaust manifolds with good results. if you need to have it coated, go with jet hot coatings. much better than powder coatings in an exhaust situation here is a link.

I have never used powder coating but have ceramic coated a muffler and so far (2 years) it still looks like it was just done. You have to bake on ceramic coating.

I also had some ceramic coated several years ago and they still look like new. That's the only way to go as far as I am concerned.

I ceramic coat all my exhausts with chrome on exposed portion and iron grey for manifold and extension pipe .
They use that on race cars and it stays looking new for long time .
Not very expensive.
