What paint to use for carburator

I am restoring a Case tractor (Orange). The carb was bead blasted and rebuilt. What can I paint the carb with that won't curl and just come off from gasoline in carb. Hoping to use spray can thanks, Dick

doubt if you will find a spray can paint that will hold up. probably a single stage urethane with a hardener at the very least. you are looking at an automotive pain line. or imron in polyurethane.

check out a hobby shop for paint used on gas powered model airplanes. It's nitro fuel proof and comes in small containers.

For years I've sprayed customers carbs with a stainless steel coating obtained from TP Tools, Wauseon Ohio. It is very durable, but like any coating will not tolerate gasoline.

I've also tried gun blueing, but don't know about durability.

Here's another option I'm going to try soon.

The look of OEM applied black oxide coating at home, and even more durable

Go to the 8N forum and ask Royse. He is the carb rebuilder for all those in need. He paints each one black unless otherwise specified. I'm sure he has something figured out.
