sand blaster pressure

60 to 90 psi for a cabinet blaster. The medium will last a lot
longer. If you are not re using the media, let er fly.

Most have a pop-off valve that determines your pressure. I think the one on mine is around 90-100 #. If you have a homemade one it needs to have a pop-off valve.

You must mean the pressure switch. Pretty much the same as the one on a well pump system. A pop-off is more of a term for the pressure relief valve which is there in case the pressure switch doesn't shut the motor off. it doesn't control the motor.

What I meant was the "blaster pot" has a pop-off valve so doesn't matter how high your compressor is it will blow off down until it is under rated pop - off valve pressure which is under 100. Pop off on blaster itself.

I haven't run my pot blaster in years, but seems like I ran the regulator up all the way and run it full pressure. That thing take a lot of air, so I was probably maintaining between 70 and 100 psi.
