case 3394 paint code

Hello, I am currently restoring a 1985 Case IH 3394. I would like to use automotive paint versus the enamel paint the dealership sells. I am having a hard time figuring out what color is suppose to be on this tractor. if some one knows the PPG paint code or the correct enamel paint. i can get it color matched. any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This might work for you too:
To choose the right Grey for my NAA rims, I took the hood off and took it to our Auto Parts store. They used their camera-like scanner, putting it right down on the paint, and then sent the camera over to the big city to the Valspar supplier. Immediately, their software identified my paint as "Ford Grey" and so I bought a quart.

Before I took the hood to town, I washed and lightly cut polished it.

In town while carring the long narrow hood, some teenagers at a stop sign in town said jokingly, "Cool skateboard dude!"
