windshield overspray removal

Perhaps this has been asked here before, but I need some ideas to remove some overspray from the windshield of my semi. There was some touchup done on the hood before I got it. It seems to be pretty solidly stuck. In most cases it's not noticeable but when looking at the sun it very definitely is a problem. What is the best way to remove this? Thanks. Mike

i'd use a single edge razor blade and gently clean it up. if you are using steel wool use OOO or ultra fine so you dont scratch the glass.

I use the razor blade however it's a lot easier if you get a glass scraper to put the blade in. It's just a handle to hold the blade. Lacquer thinner would do it however you would have to do it over and over changing rags cause it would liquefy the paint and smear it around.

I agree with the razor blade but if it makes you cringe, you can buy plastic razor blades made for doing just what you need and will also clean it off chrome/paint without scratching .
