High heat JD Green

I am in need of advice on painting the Manifold on my 420T. It is a one piece casting with the intake and exhaust together.

My question is what type paint (brand) would you recomend to stand the heat of the exhaust?

I would like paint it JD classic Green but I don't have any idea what type paint to use.

Thanks

The best thing you can do is paint it all green and after running to get it hot and burn off about half ,which it will, then brush off the burned paint and get a can of BBQ or black stove paint and paint the burned part and blend it into the remaining green. It will look better than rust and will prove you actually use it. There is no green I know of that will stay green on exhaust. If it is like this MT, the burned part is hidden by hood anyway.

I recently used a product called cast blast. It has held up well
so far(10-15 engine hrs) it's a grey that closely resembles
freshly bead blasted cast iron and IMO looks great.

The purists will point out that they would have been plain green from the factory and after a few hours it would have burned off. Many of us prefer original on the intake only, yes even the two in one types, then high heat on the exhaust. The cast blast that Juicybusa2 recommends has been endorsed here before.
