JD B engine/trans case painting

Hello All,

Restoring a JD B and I notice on the inside of the case there is some red paint. I assume to seal the cast iron. I have case completetly stripped and rebuilding trans. Case has been sand blasted and degreased.

What do you recommend to reseal the case with?
