Guys,
I am swapping out the fenders on my ford 3600, and will be painting them while they're off. This is a working tractor, and I just need some paint on them for protection. I don't want to have to use any special safety protections to paint, just want the easiest/safest/quickest protection I can get, but at the same time want it to look half way decent. I have painted a couple of autos before so have a very little experience.
I saw an old post that said the ford white was avail. on amazon in valspar. I found it. seems a bit expensive, but if its the right color... It just says ford white.
Is it the right ford white for a 1980 ford 3600?
Is there a cheaper paint(decent) with the correct color available in a quart?
Also, there is a little rust in the cracks between the bracket and the fender. Other than sandblasting, is there any way to clean those cracks up before spraying?
thanks, david
