Had a fire in the shop. Burnt the hood and side panels of one tractor, 2nd tractor not burnt but has heavy soot coating. The soot was from mostly a drawer full of rubber hoses and belts and motor oil. Need to know any special type of cleaner for the soot coating on them. Painted many tractors with nice out comes not pro at all, but very presentable jobs. The metal shows no sign of warping, buckles deformity or oil canning. Can I prep as usual and paint or do I need to do something special.
