I have a 54 super c that was restored/painted about 9 years ago. Long story short it was ran about 2 hours and parked in a fence row. I don't know what paint was used and I'm kinda new at this so should I just prep the old paint ie: degrease, pressure wash, and scuff and paint over old paint or should I prime as well? Sheet metal is in good shape but the paint shows 9 years of sitting in a fence row. Engine and other parts are in decent shape with some flaking in spots. Not wanting to put a ton of money in it so what paint/primer should I use, would tsc paint work? I'm not looking for a showroom paint job just want it to shine for the upcoming thresherman show in Adams,Tn. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
