I stopped by my painters today to drop off the paint and thinner for my JD 60 sheet metal he is working on. He took me back and showed me my hood.......there is still some paint and rust spots under the primer that the blaster painted on after he "blasted" it. I guess next time ill know to not have blasted parts primed at the blaster so that I can inspect them before I pay.

most are not very fussy people. that's why they blast instead of doing the finish work. that's also why most say "don't blast a tractor" , because these are the type doing most of the blasting for people ...and unfortunately the masking too.

Don't know where you are in this project time-wise, but I'd stop right there and re-do it. If you can see rust now, already, it'll get bad-to-worse as time goes by.
