Has anyone used this paint before?

I used to use the Restoration Series paint from Valspar and had good luck with it.
But they are not making/selling it any more.
So I was at Fleet Farm on Saturday and see they are selling this stuff. Acrylic enamel, you can get the hardener and reducer for it.
I haven't seen the brand before and am wondering about it, if it is any good, etc.
It's cheap but cheap isn't always the best.
Anyone use it before?
Thanks

I'm always looking for interesing alternatives to alkyd but I gotta say, that Bunker Hill Paint Company has just about the lowest profile on the net I have ever seen. Only links for "Old 55" or "Bunker Hill Paint Company" take you straight back to Fleet, but no info as to what is it since they don't show the back of the can or list any specs.

BTW most cheap so called "acrylic enamel" tractor and implement paints (like CNH's) I have looked into turn out to be mislabled alkyd. When we talk about cheap paint fading, we really mean alkyd paint fading, since alkyd is very prone to fade, and about all cheap T&I paints (and most more expensive ones too) are alkyd.

CNH paint is an acrylic modified alkyd enamel, meaning that UV inhibitors have been added to reduce fading. As you said it is not acrylic enamel, and CNH does not call it that. I have never used it, favoring acrylic urethane but most who have used it seem to like it. But, it is still alkyd.

The cheaper enamel paints fade rather quickly.I used Rustoleum Farmall Red.In a couple of months of sitting in the sun,it quickly turned PINK

I think FF used to have "Majic".....whatever it was, it faded to pink fairly rapidly. re the hardener....does it contain isocyanates? Then you NEED a supplied air system. I understand some hardeners do not contain isos, so a respirator is adequate.

Hal, Great looking machine there.
I guess I'll just spend a little (lot) more and buy a reputable name brand.
Thanks to all.

I never heard of that paint. I used New Holland's
acrylic enamel blue on my garden tractor in 2010.
I didn't use any hardener since they recommend using a supplied air system. I think I paid about $20.00 for a quart. The light almond color was Dupont's acrylic enamel both sprayed and covered well.

I used the same paint on the moldboard plow too. Hal
