painting 88 grill

I'm getting ready to paint my grill on an 88. On the red strip down the center you have oliver stamped in it. How is the best way to paint the oliver letters yellow? Thanks for the help. Ed

Some people have luck with a foam brush but it didn't work for me but I tried to do it with one coat. The foam brush would probably work better with multiple coats. I had better painting raised letters with a small soft artist paint brush.

Lettering quill. Mack Brush Company. An old sign painter trick is to use scotch tape as a border and run the strokes right up onto the tape. Pull tape very gently back over itself. You also use a maul stick to steady the hand. Any 1/2 dowel will work.Use 1-Shot enamel.Yellow is weak and takes two coats.
