Live near Minneapolis mn how much might it cost to prep and pained a nice clean ford jubilee? Anyone available in my area do to the paint job?

In my area to paint a tractor that size would be around $1500. That's not doing tons of body work or a perfect show tractor. Its basically a clean, strip, paint, assemble job.

200$ of small compressor and paint gun will be most of the 'tools' needed.

prep with a pressure wash and degrease. knock off any loose rust. if paint is smooth but weathered. hit it with some 320 and then a scotch brite. shoot prime then paint.

farm stores usually sell gallons of paint in the 35$ per gallon range.

not sure how many coats you are looking for.. but 2 qts red will do the chassie and 1 qt grey for the tin.. that will get ya 1 coat.. i'd go a minimum of 2 myself.. if you paint the rims, then up that to near 2 pints for the tins/rims

My son-in-law lives near Cannon Falls and just had two (Farmall)tractors painted by a fellow in Cannon Falls. He didn"t tell me the name of the guy, but said he was pleased with his work. I bet if you called a body shop in CannonFalls at random they"d know who this fellow is. I"d ask my son-in-law but he"s on a project out of town for the next month. Hope this helps.
