Which Paint Gun

I haven't ever painted much in the past but am about to paint a tractor frame. I'd like to buy a decent gun that I could learn with and hope to get better as I teach myself. Do ya'll have any advice on which brand and type of gun I should look for? Thanks!

the pro line guns we use here at the shop are sata and anest iwata. gravity feed hvlp. they are spendy, but they will last you a lifetime. and parts are readily available for a rebuild.

I have read good things about the Eastwood HVLP guns. I have used both gravity and siphon guns in the past and I would lean toward a HVLP gun. The eastwood claims to work with a home compressor. I haven't ordered it yet but I plan to.

ive been using a devillbis pro line 4 ,hvlpits a work horse easy to clean sprays paint nice ive been using it with a 1.8 niddle and nossle you can get it at eastwood for couple hundred bucks.it will be a good gun to start with, its gravity feed hvlp too

I bought these HVLP guns sometime ago. I used it to paint my Troy Bilt tiller in 2006. I used my old Devilbiss in 2010 to paint my garden tractor.
Hal
PS: The HVLP guns require a good air compressor.
