OK we are going to paint or 1961 1800A ...Can anyone show me a tractor painted with PPG paint medow green #(MAE-45641) and the clover white PPG paint (DAR-46536)heather grn
as im having my head spin on my shoulders on paint color..people saying no use this #..i have been doing resurch on provious posts.on oliver color.and yes.. I e-mailed Helen Dumont and had a sample mixed of PPG-926052 but that is to bright..i feel..this is the hardest part of the restore.thanks for all your help.

The color on everyones computer is different. The auto body supplies I go to match up to a sample . If you can find a painted area that has unexposed paint that is pretty close to the original color. A good shop can match that original paint. Also paint color in a can is often lighter than once it has dried. You need to do a spray out on a panel and let it dry . I would do a spray out on the paint you think is too bright now. See how it looks .

HERE WE GO....I removed the top two rivits from the modle and serial tag and swong it down.I cleaned the dirt off behind the tag.and wal-al..green paint..spray a test peace of metal.with OMNI MAE 926052.and this is what we have...prity close.the other color is MAE-45641
and HEATHER GREEN IS MAE-46536

So how does that paint look now?

I going to repaint a late 60's Oliver 1850 and have started looking for paint.

A few too many choices. Don't mind paying for quality paint that matches well.

Let me know if you like your results and exactly what you decided to use. THANKS.
