Any feedback on the use of rust encapsulators?

There are probably some good ones out there but I've never used them. I don't trust them. When I restore a car I get it all gone. On old machinery I think it is something you constantly have to battle. People really swear by some of those products though.

I have used OSPHO, a phosphorus solution which reacts with the rust to form a paintable surface. I try to remove all the rust that I can then clean with a commercial detergent and water, let dry well before painting.
