Paint removal on thin aluminum??

I've got some small thin aluminum pieces with bends and angles that I need to remove the old paint from. Will brake fluid work without damaging the aluminum? I've never tried it before. Afraid to blast, might distort. Ideas welcome. Thanks for your help.

A paint stripper containing methylene chloride, just wear a charcoal mask and keep it off your skin. Use it next to a water supply--it starts to burn your skin immediately. Or sand it off depending how much you have to sand. Best not to use what is not made for the purpose, such as brake cleaner.
