The color I used was wrong help with fixing

I just got done painting my John Deere with LIC from dupont which is a acrylic enamel, had a dupont dealer mix the paint. After looking at it the color looks wrong like theres too much blue, can I have him mix the right color and repaint over the old stuff?

Technically,no. If it has dried longer that 24 hrs they will say no. If you used no hardener in it and it isn't 90 degrees there's a chance it may bite into the first paint but most will say to scuff it up with scotchbrite pad but there's so many places you just can't get to. If it were mine, and since it isn't the sheetmetal, I would get back on it while it's still "soft" . I am not advising you to do that, I'm just saying what I would do given my 35 -40 yrs in paint/body bus.

Two years ago the paint on my 901 Ford was too orange. I spent a number of hours scuffing then repainted and it is looking good so far.

antique JD green is more blue than the modern JD green they are two different colors. Just a thought, and maybe an outside chance you're color is correct.

Well I gave it about a week took all my poly down and got some light on the situation, it looks a lot better i'm not going to try and change it. Just had to let the dust settle and put some light on it. Ill post pictures when Im all done with it.
