I've got about five tractors that need to be painted, and even though I might be too old of a dog to learn new tricks, I'm attempting to learn to paint. I have a turbine HVLP system from TP tolls and I got to where I could do an almost adequate job painting with enamel. Then a friend suggested I try Imron.
To say the least it hasn't gone well. I am now the king of orange peel. I talked to my friend and he said that Imnron isn't the easiest thing to paint with and does tend to orange peel. Also said it's about the most toxic paint out there. He suggested trying PPG Industrial. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Also, can I paint it over the Imron if I sand it smooth?
