Tip; save the spray can nozzles

At times the nozzles may clog or simply not work well. When ever I finish up a can, I salvage the nozzle and put into a container with a little paint thinner. I have salvage/reused many cans of paint that I would otherwise return or throw away. Spray a little bit first on something else to remove the thinner.
Not all tips are compatible. There are some new tips out there that do work pretty good.

With decent paint turn the can upside down and spray until little or no paint comes out. By quality I mean IH 2150 or equivalent, Valspar's high end for rattle cans.

I don't care for valspar spray paint. it drys so fast toy can't get a smooth coat. I have much better luck with Van Sickle.

Valspar makes all kinds of paint. The rattle can version of Van Sickle does the opposite for me. Takes forever to dry, worst rattle can I have ever used -- this was 10 years ago, maybe it has gotten better.
