painting farmall rims,what paint?

Here's a link to Rod's paint codes for most tractors. You should be able to find a silver color. I painted the rims on this Farmall A in 1975 using a yellow lacquer. Looks good with red. The red was bought from the local IH dealer. I should've thrown it out. Hal

This is what rustoleum hammered silver looks like. Sorta like an argent silver. Also sorta like galvanize in appearance. Not very bright, but still very metallic. Spray can or quart can. Your choice.

Looks identical to the PPG 8568 I mentioned below. Advantage to 8568 is you can get it in urethane.
 
I use rustoleum Aluminum for all my rims. Looks great and it's tough. Only complaint is it runs too easy
 
charles, did you read my post below about "Need silver paint code for wheels"?
It gives the newer 5 digit code for the Martin Senour paint CNKS mentioned. I have not used or seen it in person, but a dealer should have a chip of it to get an idea.
