I am looking for recoat time on Martin-Senour urethane paint. I have gone to the tech sheet web sight and am unable to determine, by description which paint I have. It is labeled on the invoice as type 55A. The store rep gave me a mix rate of 8,4,1 but I failed to ask about recoat time

I have not used Martin Senour, but the tech sheet and can numbers or description should be the same. If you didn't finish painting and want to know when you can do it, call the company or ask you dealer to do it, since he will have a more direct connection to the company. It may not be on the tech sheet. If you mean between coats, 10-15 minutes between coats when the paint "flashes" is about right. Do not wait 30 minutes or an hour because the paint might lift.

Type 55 should be Crossfire urethane and like most Sherwin Williams single stage you have a 24 hour recoat window. After 24 hours it must be sanded.
