I need some help figuring out the correct alternator bracket for my 1550 diesel.
Parts book I have shows a cast bracket that bolts to the front cover on the right side outboard. But my engine doesn't have any bosses there for the bracket to bolt to. SN puts this machine in the last year of manufacture, 1969, but my parts book is from 1965.
Does anybody have a picture (or part number) of the correct lower alternator bracket on a late-production 1550 diesel?
