any auto supply store that sells paint products will have wax and grease remover. comes in gallon cans. common names are prep-sol, finyl wash, ect. just wipe on, wipe off with a clean cotton rag. it will not harm paint finish.

I picked up a gallon of car wash at Wallmart. I kinda read a coupla labels and thought I was buying a wash with wax. I picked the one with the purrtyest label not knowing anything about any of them. Pulled the wife's SSR out in the drive gave it a good wash. When I got it all dried off it didn't have the shine I expected. Decided I might aught ta read that purtty label. Well wouldn't ya know, it was suppose to remove the wax. Worked like a charm for what it was supposed to do but gave me another job which took a while to get the wax back on. If ya was next door I would let you barrow the rest for a coupla years or more.

Meguires sells a product that will do that. Works exactely like waxing a vehicle only in reverse. You then will need to probably put a couple of coats back onto the car. My arm hurts just thinking about it.
