boiled linseed oil

If your trailer floor is dry and you can get several days of hot sun brush it on it will soak in in the hot sun. My trailer is about a year old and I painted mine with several coats of crankcase drains on a 90 degree day and in two days it was all soaked in.

Used motor oil would be better. My trailer is 12 years old. Sets outside all the time. I give the floor a abundant soaking of motor oil once per year and the floor still looks like brand new.

First pass cut 50% with turpentine; soakes in better. Subsequent coats use full strength. Might save a few $ but unless it is a older tailer and sits outside all the time wouldn't consider used motor oil.

Careful of old rags used to cleanup. Ordinary motor oil rarely causes spontaneous combustion.
However linseed oil and tung oil are noted for auto ignition.

I would use the linseed oil, I put used oil on plywood, and the wood turned black. It soaked alright and the rain doesn't affect it, but I don't like the black color of the wood. Lindseed oil won't discolor the wood.
