Is there a good generic gun cleaning solvent that is good for both epoxy primer and urethane paint.

I use a product from kleen strip called naked gun cleaner in our gun washers. It works on epoxy, polyester, and urethane paints. From your local body shop supplier.

There are several. I use MS 251 from PPG. You can also use the reducer that you use with the paint, but it will cost considerably more. Some use lacquer thinner, I only used that once before I got rid of it. Go to a place that sells quality paint and use what they recommend. Or do what Glennster says, that product is not sold where I live.

I use a cheap wash lacquer thinner I get for $9.00 a gallon and it washes everything out of my sprayers.
